This is a sublime black pure silk trench coat from Lanvin that is perfect to wear in the Spring, Summer and Fall! This lightweight coat is from the Lanvin Spring Summer 2006 collection designed by Alber Elbaz. If belted with a wide belt, as shown in the photograph of it being worn on the runway, it can double as a coat dress! Alber Elbaz was praised when this collection came out for incorporating minimalism, an aesthetic not usually associated with the designer, into his detailed style. Elbaz couldn't resist adding his own unique flair and incorporated his signature style elements into what might have been just a simple trench coat!

We love the traditional trench epaulettes, external pocket flaps and the way the coat ties underneath and then closes with a belt.

Labeled a European size 40, this coat fits a size 8/10 comfortably. It is 45" long from the nape of the neck.
